You’ve been working for Fakebiz Inc. for over 4 years and you decide you want to help start a business with a coworker. Starting a business wasn’t even your idea, but there seemed to be a very solid foundation from which you could build a company… so you accepted the offer. Here’s the deal - you (as a young and single entrepreneur) would be the main designer. Your partner, who has a family, decides to keep the job and help fund the project with the income (and his family). You really think about this - is it worth the risk? Should you go into this? What if things don’t work out? You could be put in a tight situation. However, you are a risk taker and the business plan seemed very solid - so you accept the offer.
A few weeks down the line, your partner drops out of the business because he doesn’t have the time anymore (between his family and the other job). Now you are stuck without a job and with a business that isn’t even prepared to launch. What do you do?
