Summize - Great Tool For Networking on Twitter
Hey folks, I’ve been talking a lot about Twitter lately as I think it’s such a great tool for interacting and connecting. I think it’s an even greater tool for young entrepreneurs. As young entrepreneurs, sometimes our circle of influence that we are constantly around aren’t always the most entrepreneurial, so that’s why hanging out on sites such as Facebook, Myspace & Twitter are so awesome.
Summize is a GREAT tool that I’ve been using. It’s basically a search engine for Twitter. Why is this great for young entrepreneurs you might ask? Because you have direct access to thousands of entrepreneurs and Summize just makes it very simple for you to find the one’s that are in your specific industry.
You can also search for folks in your local region as well and get together to set up masterminds, conferences, networking mixers, and tons of other really cool things.
I can go on with story after story of how I connected with someone on Twitter because of Summize. My specific industry would be Social Media Marketing so what I would do is type into Summize is “Social Media Marketing” and wound find a ton of people in that industry that I can potentially connect with.
My advice when using it is, don’t go and spam people after you find someone that is doing something similar to what you’re up to, just into their conversations, add some value to what they’re up to, and ask if there’s anything that you can do to help them.

That has motivated me to finally get on to Twitter. I have been reluctant because these things are addictive and end up draining your time!
