Warning: Education is bad for you

Here is my stance. I’ll say it right here in the first paragraph of my second post. I think education is a catastrophe. Education is the anti-Christ to entrepreneurialism. Education creates fear, prevents change and tells you how business should be done. It’s all wrong.
I’m a hypocrite. Next July, aged 22, I’ll drop out the rear end of this educational crapshoot. On that day I’ll be staring white-faced at my bank account, and blank faced at my options.
Education, up to a literate standard is important; learning to read, write and do sums is tantamount to knowing how to think. Sadly from about the age of 12, education moulds us into identical drones. It’s really rather tragic.
Peers and Heroes
You entrepreneurs are my peers and heroes. You’re bold, tenacious, people that want to create something for yourselves. You turn your backs on twenty years of education, you don’t write CVs, you don’t buy suits for job interviews and you give the finger to business cog positions.
I want a change. All blogs should have some reason d’etre. Mine is to get more of you starting your own companies, and believing that trying to change the world is what we should all be doing. Even if you fail, actually, especially if you fail.
